About the role

As a Restaurant Assistant Manager at Nan Tian Group Ltd., Inc., you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bustling restaurant in Metro Manila. This full-time position will see you working closely with the Restaurant General Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the entire establishment, from managing staff to driving exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in the overall management and supervision of restaurant operations
  • Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance management to maintain high service standards
  • Monitor inventory levels, liaise with suppliers, and manage purchasing to control costs
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment to motivate the team
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints to ensure a seamless dining experience
  • Analyse sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, inventory, and purchasing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers, staff, and stakeholders
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering an outstanding dining experience
