About the role

A new franchise from Japan of sukiyaki, shabu shabu all you can eat buffet restaurant is seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team overseeing the operations of our popular Japanese buffet restaurant located in Metro Manila. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a talented team of professionals.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
  • Oversee the delivery of excellent customer service, resolving any guest issues promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and profitability
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for the restaurant team
  • Analyze and report on key performance metrics to continuously improve operations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing all aspects of a successful restaurant operation, including staffing, inventory, and customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Proficient in financial management, with a strong understanding of cost control and budget planning
  • Hands-on experience in a Japanese or Asian cuisine restaurant is highly desirable
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Having a Phillipines pass port is an advantage for training to Japan.
