We are seeking a
Technical Specialist
who acts as the primary technical liaison among Dexterton's service technicians, other departments, and clients. This role will be crucial for ensuring the technical specifications and product placements are clearly communicated and agreed upon before installation begins. The Specialist's core responsibility is to alleviate pressure on field technicians by owning the creation of technical drawings for visualization and managing all front-facing technical communication with clients and partner teams.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Communications and Client Liaison

  • Serve as the designated point person for communicating complex technical specifications (e.g., plumbing requirements, electrical provisions,etc.)to clients, architects, and designers, helping field technicians from direct communication burdens.

  • Translate the technical constraints of Dexterton's products into clear,non-technical explanations for clients, managing expectations regarding installation requirements, site provisions, and potential challenges.

Installation Visualization & Design Support

  • The Specialist will be responsible for creating technical drawings (as needed)to clearly visualize installation provisions, product placements, and final dimensions for complex products.

  • Review client-provided architectural plans and specifications, identifying potential conflicts or omnissions related to product installation.

  • Ensure the finalized technical drawings and client decisions are effectively handed over to the Field Technicians for execution.

Technician Support

  • Provide dedicated, immediate technical support to field technicians facing technical queries or complex problem-solving requirements on-site,preventing work stoppages.

Qualifications

  • Holds a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Architecture, Engineering, or Interior Design.
  • Requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in technical or design support, ideally with exposure to construction operations.
  • Must have expert proficiency in CAD and 3D visualization to create precise, zero-error installation drawings and documentation.
  • Possesses strong foundational knowledge of building provisions and infrastructure (e.g., plumbing, electrical systems) to assess site feasibility.
  • Exhibits exceptional ability to simplify complex product specifications into clear, non-technical language for clients and designers.
  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail to proactively manage external expectations and ensure a 100% conflict-free handoff to field technicians.
