Job Description:

As a Research and Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and technological advancements within our managed properties. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth research in optimizing

existing system or processes. This role requires a strong background in engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct research activities to explore new technologies and identify opportunities for improvement.

2. Research innovative solutions to enhance existing system or processes, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards.

3. Write technical reports, feasibility studies, and similar documentation.

4. Collaborate with vendors to develop and/or implement new or practical technologies or techniques within APMC-managed properties.

5. Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in the field through continuous learning and attending conferences or workshops.

6. Analyze data and conduct experiments to validate hypotheses, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.

7. Create and maintain accurate documentation of research findings.

8. Participate in project planning and contribute to the development of research goals and objectives.

9. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety guidelines (e.g. DOLE OSH, etc.) and local & international codes or regulations (e.g. Philippine Mechanical Code, Philippine Electrical Code, etc.) during the research process.

Required Skills:

1. Strong background in engineering principles, with expertise in a specific field (e.g., mechanical or electrical).

2. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think analytically and creatively to come up innovative solutions.

3. Proficient in using office applications (e.g. MS Office), engineering software and tools for data analysis, modelling, and simulation.

4. Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

5. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

6. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects forward.
