Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Marketing & Public Relations at Singapore Airlines located in Makati City, Philippines. This role will be responsible for the following:

  • Market and Partnerships Development

a. Plans meetings with possible partners

b. Plans and organizes presentations

c. Updates project calendar and chart with market development and partnership activities

d. Communicates program brief to supporting departments prior to launch of assigned campaigns

e. Works with Sales Department for joint sales and marketing activities

  • Digital Marketing

a. Plans, schedules, and develops content for web pages, electronic direct mailer (eDM), social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), digital marketing ads (display banners, rich media, SEO/SEM) and other real-time marketing efforts

b. Provides marketing tracking and research information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends with the use of available tools including Google Analytics 4, Tableau, and other data dashboards

c. Coordinate with relevant business units in Head Office including brand marketing, digital, and e-commerce departments for proper implementation and execution of digital marketing campaigns

  • Advertising & Promotions

a. Creates and updates media schedule for the fiscal year

b. Conceptualizes and implements advertising and marketing campaigns, which may include copy and design

c. Establishes partner contacts and updates mailing list

d. Coordinates with media agency for ad placements, media schedule, and Ad Standards Council requirements

e. Coordinates with creative agency for design and development of marketing and promotion materials

f. Processes vendor invoices

g. Monitors the budget

  • Loyalty Marketing

a. Supports promotions and loyalty marketing activities

b. Supports KrisFlyer acquisition through digital marketing initiatives

c. Increases job knowledge by monitoring other airlines' loyalty programme activities

  • Public Relations

a. Assists in coordinating with PR Agency for press releases and media briefings, as needed

b. Establish and maintain good relationship with internal and external stakeholders, key media, content creators, influencers, partners, etc. including government affairs, as necessary

  • Collateral Stock

a. Maintains and monitors collateral stock/promotional material inventory for sales and marketing & PR

b. Conducts quotation exercise prior to order placements, places orders and processes invoices, as necessary

  • Others

a. Basic Photoshop or Canva knowledge is a plus

b. Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

c. Handles ad hoc projects

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing and Public Relations/Communication Services
  • Press Releases, Communication, and Media Relations skills
  • Customer Service and Public Relations skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Experience in the airline or hospitality industry is a plus
  • Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage
