About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Grand City Hotels Inc' in Cagayan de Oro Misamis Oriental. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and organisation across our hotel property. What you'll be doing

  • Thoroughly clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking supplies
  • Ensure all communal areas, such as lobbies, hallways, and public restrooms, are kept spotless and well-presented
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and security protocols to provide a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Assist with laundry and linen management as needed
  • Collaborate with the wider housekeeping team to maintain efficiency and high standards

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in supervisory or team leader position
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience required
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the workday
  • ABCs of Good Housekeeping, NCII in Housekeeping preferred
  • Can work holiday and weekends, depending on occupancy & needs of the hotel
