The Mall Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all mall facilities, utilities, and equipment to ensure smooth operations, safety, and tenant satisfaction. The role ensures that all maintenance activities are properly planned, scheduled, and executed efficiently with minimal disruption to mall operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for building facilities, utilities, and common area equipment (elevators, escalators, HVAC, generators, lighting, plumbing, etc.).
  • Plan and prepare detailed maintenance work orders, including manpower, materials, tools, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with operations, security, housekeeping, and tenant relations to minimize downtime and inconvenience.
  • Ensure timely execution of maintenance requests from tenants and mall departments.
  • Monitor inventory and ensure availability of spare parts and consumables needed for scheduled maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical field).
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning or facilities management, preferably in a mall, retail complex, or commercial building.
  • Knowledgeable in building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, fire protection, and structural maintenance.
  • Proficient in maintenance planning tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills.
  • Willing to work on weekends or holidays as required by mall operations.
