Training Developer

Responsible for designing, animating, and producing engaging instructional videos that support Gordian Staffing's training initiatives. Using tools such as Powtoon to transform written training materials into dynamic visual content, working with other departments to create learner-focused experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Script-to-Screen Production: Transform training scripts and storyboards into polished, learner-centric animated videos using Powtoon or similar tools.
  • Visual Storytelling: Apply Gordian's tone, branding, and design guidelines to produce videos that enhance clarity, engagement, and retention.
  • Storyboarding & Planning: Collaborate with content creators to storyboard scenes, plan visual flow, and determine the most effective visual treatment.
  • Audio & Voice Integration: Integrate narration, background music, and sound effects to reinforce tone and timing.
  • Content Conversion: Transform written training materials into dynamic, learner-friendly video formats.
  • Video QA & Iteration: Review and revise videos based on team and learner feedback to ensure high-quality final deliverables.
  • LMS Collaboration: Coordinate with LMS Content Coordinators and/or Training Developers to format, test, and upload videos to TalentLMS or other platforms.
  • Template & Asset Management: Build and maintain reusable video templates and visual assets to ensure consistency and streamline production.
  • Project Coordination: Manage video development timelines and deliverables, ensuring content is delivered on time and aligned with training calendars.

Schedule

Monday to Friday

Standard: 11:00 pm to 8:00 am Manila Time

Daylight: 10:00 pm to 7:00 am Manila Time

Minimum requirements

  • 2+ years of experience
  • You will be asked to share your
    Portfolio showcasing instructional designs and SCORM files.
  • Proficiency in using video/audio tools (e.g., Powtoon, Canva, Camtasia, Adobe tools, voiceover platforms)
  • Basic knowledge of instructional design or eLearning.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
