JOB SPECIFICATION:

EDUCATION: Preferably an Industrial Engineering graduate, BS Architecture or similar.

Must be proficient in AutoCad, 3D and Microsoft Office Software.

EXPERIENCE: With at least one (1) year experience o in drafting manufacturing, cost estimates, and CAD. Well versed in Technical drawing interpretation and has a flair in furniture designing.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Received SO / JO / ARF / NCO / Technical Specifications / Take-Off Sheet / Drawings and Details / Colour Coded Plans (A3) from PDTD Supervisor. Responsible to action on the request upon endorsement of the Supervisor.

  2. Coordinates with the (TPDD) Technical Specialist / Supervisor regarding clarification or lack of information on technical specification, design changes, and any matters pertaining to the new project. To issue an Internal Feedback Report if there's any discrepancies on the request.

  3. Prepares Material Estimate & Summary / Work Order with reference to the approved SO/JO, Technical Specification, take-off sheet and drawings of the new project. Ensures accuracy of specification.

  4. Prepares Detail Shop Drawings for Production / Detail Drawing request as required.

  5. Updates Detail Shop Drawings, Specifications used by production whenever there is confirmed and approved design or specification changes.

  6. Ensures to issue the latest revised drawings / WO for Production based on latest SO/ JO or ARF received from Makati thru PPC.

  7. Prepares products costing for every new products or parts as per instruction by the PDTD Manager / Supervisor.

  8. Coordinates with the TPDD (Makati) regarding drawings specification cost estimates and required materials as well as the process involved in the prototype or mock-up product.

  9. Maintains records of approved / updated MBOM / Work Order, product cost estimates, Technical Shop Drawings in accordance with the Control of Quality Records Operating Procedure.

  10. Identifies and records any problems relating to the product, process and quality systems and initiates Action Log for submission to the PDTD Supervisor or Manager for proper action.

  11. Initiates, recommends or provide solutions to non-conformances and submits to Department Supervisor for evaluation.
