As we grow, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our accounting and finance department and contribute to our ongoing success.

As Accounting Head at Trulaboratories Corporation, you will play a key role in managing our financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
  • Coordinate and assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules, ensuring proper accounting treatment and compliance with company policies
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and resolve any accounting issues or discrepancies
  • Corporate VAT preparation, filing and claims.
  • Support external audit and tax compliance processes, preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries as needed
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • Performs ad-hoc accounting and finance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5 years or more in general accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems; proficiency with Sage Peachtree.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
