About the role

As an Accountant (Cost)role will require maintaining accurate cost accounting records and providing valuable insights to support the company's financial decision-making. This full-time position is based in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila, and offers the opportunity to contribute to the company's ongoing success.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and analyse cost reports, including production costs, material costs, and labour expenses
  2. Maintain accurate cost accounting records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  3. Collaborate with the finance team to provide cost data analysis and recommendations to support business strategy and budgeting
  4. Participate in the implementation of cost-saving initiatives and monitor the impact on the company's profitability
  5. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other management reports
  6. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient cost accounting practices

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting or a similar role
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data
  4. Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  6. Familiarity with cost accounting principles, methods, and best practices
  7. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is preferred
