The CAD Operator – Automation Systems is responsible for preparing, updating, and maintaining technical drawings related to smart home and building automation projects. This role supports the Project Management Office (PMO) by producing accurate automation plans, including switching layouts, lighting layouts, and smart device integration drawings, ensuring alignment with project requirements, site conditions, and automation standards.

The ideal candidate is highly proficient in AutoCAD, detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating with project managers, engineers, and site teams to deliver clear and buildable automation drawings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Automation & Technical Drawings

  • Prepare and develop automation plans including lighting layouts, switching and control layouts, smart device layouts (keypads, sensors, controllers, gateways, panels, etc.)
  • Draft low-voltage and control system layouts for residential and commercial automation projects.
  • Interpret design concepts, project requirements, and site conditions into accurate CAD drawings.
  • Ensure drawings reflect correct device placement, zoning, and control logic coordination.

Drawing Updates & Revisions

  • Revise and update drawings based on Project Management instructions, site conditions and as-built information, client or consultant feedback
  • Maintain version control and proper drawing documentation.
  • Prepare as-built drawings after project completion.

Coordination & PMO Support

  • Work closely with the PMO, Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Teams to ensure drawings support execution timelines.
  • Assist in preparing drawings for client submissions, internal reviews, installation and programming teams
  • Attend coordination meetings when required to clarify technical drawing requirements.

Standards & Documentation

  • Ensure all drawings comply with company drafting standards, automation best practices, and applicable codes.
  • Organize and manage CAD files, blocks, symbols, and drawing templates.
  • Support PMO documentation by providing accurate technical layouts for project records.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting Technology, Industrial Technology, or any related technical field
  • Preferably with 1-2 years of experience as CAD Operator or Draftsman (automation or construction-related experience is an advantage)
  • Technical Skills -- strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting required, 3D is an advantage); experience preparing lighting, switching, or low-voltage layouts; basic understanding of electrical plans, smart home or building automation systems (an advantage

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
