About the role
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team at Millennium Business Services, Inc.' in Alabang Muntinlupa City Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting the Accounting Manager in overseeing all financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the company.
What you'll be doing
- Assist the Accounting Manager in managing the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records
- Provide support in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data is accurate and up-to-date
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of accounting policies and procedures
- Assist in the supervision and training of junior accounting staff
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Assistant Accounting Manager or in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and relevant regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA certification or progress towards CPA qualification is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php50, Php70,000.00 per month
