What does a successful Technical Consultant - Lead do at Fiserv?

The Fiserv APAC Delivery Services group is responsible for the design, development and delivery of end-2-end banking solutions to clients throughout the Asia Pacific region. Candidate must have a Degree or Diploma in a relevant IT discipline and have at least 5 years experience working in a similar organisation, with a good working knowledge of banking applications. 5 to 8 years experience leading development teams working on medium-large IT delivery projects. The candidate is expected to work independently, is pro-active and ensures the delivery KPI – Quality, Timelines and Cost.

What you will do:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Help maintain code quality, and organization
  • Liaise with internal and external clients
  • Analyse clients' existing system
  • Be hands on and involved in providing user support which requires investigation and troubleshooting issues
  • Identify options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business sustainability
  • Hands on individual and be able to work with local and offshore teams to deliver projects on their technical aspects

What you will need to have:

  • 7+ years of experience in IBM iSeries (AS/400), RPGLE, CLLE programs

What will be great to have

  • Good debugging and problem solving skills
  • Good understanding of core banking applications
