About the role

As the Merchandising and F&B Manager at the Philippine Football Federation, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, implementation, and optimisation of the organisation's merchandising strategy and food and beverage operations. This contract position is based in Pasig City, Metro Manila, and will involve close collaboration with the wider team to enhance the overall fan experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and executing effective merchandising plans to drive sales and increase brand visibility
  • Managing the procurement, inventory, and distribution of all merchandise and F&B items
  • Analysing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for product development and improved operational efficiency
  • Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and third-party service providers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products and services
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the merchandise and F&B outlets, including staffing, customer service, and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Collaborating with the marketing and events teams to create engaging merchandising and F&B experiences that enhance the overall fan experience
  • Continuously seeking ways to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance the profitability of the merchandising and F&B operations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a merchandising or F&B management role, preferably within the sports or event industry
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and implementing successful merchandising and F&B strategies to drive sales and enhance the customer experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Enthusiasm for the sport of football and a deep understanding of the local sports landscape and fan preferences
