The Quantity Surveyor (QS) is responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. The QS ensures that projects are completed within budget, cost-effectively, and with high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Estimation & Budgeting
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets.
  • Tendering & Procurement
  • Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQs), and pricing schedules.
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids and recommend award.
  • Contract Management
  • Administer contracts including progress payments, variations, and claims.
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure contractual compliance.
  • Project Monitoring & Reporting
  • Conduct regular site visits to verify progress and measure quantities.
  • Track project costs, provide financial reports, and forecast expenditures.
  • Cost Control & Value Engineering
  • Identify areas for cost savings and advise on alternative construction methods or materials.
  • Provide value engineering input to optimize project resources.
  • Post-Construction Duties
  • Prepare final accounts, cost reports, and closeout documentation.
  • Assist in claims resolution and dispute management when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
