Loan Processor with US Mortgage Experience

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our mortgage operations team. This role is responsible for managing the loan file from initial application through final approval and closing. The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on experience in U.S. mortgage processing, including direct borrower communication and full document review. This is a borrower-facing role requiring fluent English with minimal accent, as well as strong organizational and time management skills.


• Review and process loan applications to ensure completeness and accuracy in compliance with company, investor, and regulatory guidelines.

• Collect, verify, and evaluate borrower documentation, including but not limited to:

- Loan applications

- Credit reports

- Verification of Mortgage (VOM)

- Income and employment (VOE/pay stubs/tax returns)

- Bank statements and assets

- Purchase contracts

- Appraisals and title reports

• Communicate directly with borrowers to request missing or updated documentation and to clarify details in a professional, clear, and friendly manner.

• Coordinate with underwriters, loan officers, title companies, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth and timely progression of the loan file.

• Track and manage loan pipelines to meet strict deadlines and service level agreements.

• Perform compliance checks and ensure all documents meet regulatory and investor standards.

• Prepare files for underwriting submission and clear conditions as directed by the underwriter.

• Maintain up-to-date and organized loan files within the Loan Origination System (LOS).

• Provide updates to borrowers and internal teams regarding the status of their loan.

• Proactively resolve any issues that may arise during the processing stage to avoid delays in closing.
