Mortgage Processor Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Processor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth mortgage processing, working closely with Loan Officers to track lead notes, monitor incoming emails, and complete file setup reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Note Tracking: Track Lead Notes received from Loan Officer (LO) and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Email Monitoring: Monitor incoming "App Submitted" emails and set up Encompass files to align with LO Lead Notes.
  • File Setup Review: Complete "File Set-up" review when App & Docs are received from the client, including ordering credit, organizing docs in Encompass, and correcting obvious errors on the client app.
