Position: HR Payroll

Job Summary:

The HR Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing and processing the company's payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies. This role also supports HR functions related to compensation, benefits, and employee data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Prepare, review, and process payroll for all employees on a regular schedule (monthly, biweekly, etc.).
  • Data Management: Maintain and update employee records in the HR/payroll system (attendance, new hires, terminations, salary adjustments).
  • Compliance: Ensure payroll practices comply with local labor, tax, and social security regulations.
  • Deductions & Benefits: Calculate and process statutory deductions (taxes, social insurance, etc.) and employee benefits.
  • Reporting: Generate payroll reports, costing summaries, and support audits or financial reconciliations.
  • Issue Resolution: Respond to employee inquiries regarding payslips, deductions, or discrepancies.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with Finance and HR teams for payroll funding, accounting entries, and employee movements.Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements in payroll accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing (usually 2–3 years minimum).
  • Strong understanding of local labor and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP, Oracle, etc.).
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
