Finance Manager (Starts ASAP)

Location: Makati City - Hybrid – onsite once or twice a month

Training: 1 month full onsite (Makati)

Tools: Candidates should have their own tools

Employment Type: Project-based (12mos) with possibility of extension depending on performance

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Finance Supervisor or Manager in the past
  • With extensive exposure in Xero and MYOB
  • Someone with experience in advising senior management on commercial decisions and profitability.
  • With understanding of different business models and their financial implications.
  • With experience using finance systems/accounting systems/AI-enabled accounting tools
  • Global/international experience or exposure is a plus; high advantage if New Zealand exposure.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provide Commercial and Strategic Financial Insights

  2. Act as a business partner to management, providing financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making and improve commercial performance.

  3. Challenge assumptions and advise on profitability, cost control, and efficiency opportunities.

  4. Oversee End-to-End Finance Operations

  5. Manage full-cycle accounting, reporting, and compliance for the organization, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  6. Take accountability for financial controls, audit readiness, and continuous process improvement.

  7. Drive Systems and Process Modernization

  8. Lead the transition from manual spreadsheet processes to integrated finance systems.

  9. Leverage automation, AI-enabled tools, and data analytics to streamline operations and improve reporting accuracy.

  10. Support Multi-Platform and Multi-System Environments

  11. Maintain hands-on oversight of accounting and ERP systems, ensuring smooth integration across different financial platforms.

  12. Manage and Oversee Payroll and Related Processes

  13. Supervise payroll operations or coordinate with HR/payroll vendors to ensure accurate, compliant processing and reporting.

  14. Continuous Improvement and Technology Adoption

  15. Stay current with emerging finance technologies (e.g., Xero, MYOB, AI finance tools) and introduce improvements to enhance efficiency and transparency.
