What you'll be doing

  1. Provide technical expertise and consultation on a wide range of mechanical engineering projects
  2. Analyse design requirements, perform calculations, and develop detailed engineering plans and specifications
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects within defined timelines and budgets
  4. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
  5. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide cutting-edge solutions
  7. Mentor and guide junior engineers to support their professional development

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 8 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in a consulting or project-based role
  3. Strong technical expertise in areas such as design, analysis, and project management
  4. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with stakeholders
  6. Proficient in the use of engineering software, tools, and technologies
  7. Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work under tight deadlines
