What you'll do
  • Plan, oversee, and monitor the progress of project sites such as but not limited to the installation and commissioning of rolling mill equipment, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the project engineers/managers, support groups, and other stakeholders to ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Lead the team, ensuring that they are working effectively and efficiently to complete all tasks on schedule.
  • Identify, report, and resolve any technical issues and other issues that may arise (i.e. installation and commissioning issues).
  • Ensure that all equipment and materials required are available and in good working condition.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct huddle sessions, when necessary, to ensure the team's awareness regarding project status, concerns, and priorities.
What are we looking for?
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Registered Mechanical Engineer preferred but not required.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required.
  • Knowledgeable in AutoCAD 2D/3D. Revit and Sketchup is a plus.
  • Able to read mechanical plans.
  • Experience in industrial plant works/construction is a plus.
  • Those living in Quezon City or North Metro Manila have an advantage.
