Core Function:

Oversees the overall operations of the store to ensure sales targets are achieved, inventory is well-managed, and customer satisfaction is consistently delivered. The Store Manager leads the team in executing company standards, maintaining operational excellence, and driving profitability—particularly within the FMCG retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Monitor and achieve sales goals, implementing strategies to improve store performance.
  • Manage inventory levels, including stock ordering, replenishment, and shrinkage control.
  • Ensure proper merchandising, product displays, and cleanliness of the store.
  • Lead, train, and motivate store staff to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Handle cash management, sales reporting, and other administrative functions.
  • Implement company policies, operating procedures, and promotional activities.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Coordinate with the head office regarding deliveries, pricing, and product updates.
  • Prepare regular store performance reports and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in retail operations, preferably handling FMCG products.
  • Proven experience in people management and team leadership.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven and able to work under pressure.
  • Willing to work on-site and flexible with store schedules.
