Store Development and Design Project Manager

  • Manage the end-to-end store development process, including design coordination, construction management, and schedule control.
  • Coordinate with external design firms, architects, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Review design drawings, layouts, and material specifications to ensure brand consistency and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality, and site safety as the owner's representative.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and approval processes.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as permit applications, inspection coordination, and final handover documentation.
  • Support renovation projects and maintenance for existing stores.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in Japan and the Philippines (design, operations, procurement, and brand teams).

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in retail store development, construction project management, or architectural coordination.
  • Experience working with external design firms and construction vendors.
  • Strong understanding of store construction processes, layout planning, materials, and basic building codes.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; experience with project scheduling tools is a plus.
