Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Channel Strategy Development

  2. Develop and implement channel sales strategies aligned with company objectives.

  3. Identify potential new channels and optimize existing ones.
  4. Sales Target Achievement

  5. Set and achieve sales targets for different distribution channels (e.g., HORECA).

  6. Monitor and analyze sales performance by channel.
  7. Distributor/Partner Management

  8. Recruit, onboard, and manage distributors and key channel partners.

  9. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with channel partners.
  10. Market & Competitor Analysis

  11. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform channel strategies.

  12. Identify opportunities for growth or improvement in each channel.
  13. Promotional Planning & Execution

  14. Coordinate with marketing to plan and execute promotions and campaigns per channel.

  15. Track promotional ROI and adjust tactics as needed.
  16. Inventory & Demand Management

  17. Forecast demand per channel and coordinate with supply chain for smooth product availability.

  18. Minimize out-of-stock and overstock situations in all channels.
  19. Team Coordination & Development

  20. Manage and train the channel/food service sales team.

  21. Set KPIs and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  22. Reporting & Insights

  23. Generate regular reports on channel performance, customer insights, and operational issues.

  24. Present strategic recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

  1. Education:

  2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

  3. MBA is an advantage.
  4. Experience:

  5. Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry.

  6. At least 2 years in a channel sales or food service management role.
  7. Proven experience managing distributors and HORECA networks.
  8. Skills:

  9. Strong analytical and strategic thinking.

  10. Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  11. Leadership and team management capability.
  12. Proficiency in MS Office.
  13. Strong understanding of institutional and HORECA dynamics.
  14. Other Requirements:

  15. Willingness to travel frequently for field visits.

  16. Knowledge of local market trends and consumer behavior.
  17. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
