Duties and Responsibilities:
Channel Strategy Development
Develop and implement channel sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Identify potential new channels and optimize existing ones.
Sales Target Achievement
Set and achieve sales targets for different distribution channels (e.g., HORECA).
- Monitor and analyze sales performance by channel.
Distributor/Partner Management
Recruit, onboard, and manage distributors and key channel partners.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with channel partners.
Market & Competitor Analysis
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform channel strategies.
- Identify opportunities for growth or improvement in each channel.
Promotional Planning & Execution
Coordinate with marketing to plan and execute promotions and campaigns per channel.
- Track promotional ROI and adjust tactics as needed.
Inventory & Demand Management
Forecast demand per channel and coordinate with supply chain for smooth product availability.
- Minimize out-of-stock and overstock situations in all channels.
Team Coordination & Development
Manage and train the channel/food service sales team.
- Set KPIs and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Reporting & Insights
Generate regular reports on channel performance, customer insights, and operational issues.
- Present strategic recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA is an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry.
- At least 2 years in a channel sales or food service management role.
- Proven experience managing distributors and HORECA networks.
Skills:
Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and team management capability.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong understanding of institutional and HORECA dynamics.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel frequently for field visits.
- Knowledge of local market trends and consumer behavior.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
