This role will be responsible for building, executing, and optimising CRM-driven marketing campaigns that acquire new users, nurture existing members, and increase commercial opportunities.

With a strong background in marketing automation, audience segmentation, and lifecycle marketing, you will leverage Ortto, Marketo, or similar platforms to develop high-impact customer journeys that drive conversions, engagement, and revenue. As the strategic owner of Forbes Australia's CRM and audience marketing efforts, you will play a key role in ensuring the business understands who we are talking to, how to engage them effectively, and how to monetise our audience. Key Responsibilities1.

CRM Strategy & Audience GrowthDevelop and execute CRM-driven growth strategies to expand Forbes Australia's audience, increase member engagement, and improve retention. Use first-party data to create targeted segmentation models that optimise engagement and conversion. Implement lead nurturing workflows that guide audiences from awareness to subscription, event participation, and long-term engagement.2.

Marketing Automation & Campaign ExecutionBuild and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, content, social, and digital channels using Ortto or similar CRM platforms. Develop automated customer journeys that personalise outreach, trigger lifecycle touchpoints, and drive user action. Continuously optimise campaign performance using A/B testing, performance tracking, and audience insights.

Design and implement audience retention programs that improve customer lifetime value, reduce churn, and deepen engagement. Develop marketing strategies that commercialise Forbes Australia's audience, supporting membership growth, partnerships, and event monetisation.Work closely with the commercial team to identify and leverage CRM data for sponsorship, advertising, and partnership opportunities.4. Data-Driven Insights & Audience UnderstandingOwn the data strategy for audience engagement, ensuring insights drive smarter marketing decisions.

Define and track key CRM and growth marketing KPIs, including customer acquisition cost (CAC), retention rates, and revenue per user. Provide regular audience reports to sales, editorial, and leadership teams, translating insights into actionable growth strategies. Partner with editorial, product, and commercial teams to align messaging and audience engagement strategies.

Support the sales team with audience insights and CRM-driven lead nurturing programs. Work closely with data and technology teams to optimise CRM platforms and ensure data integrity. Key Skills & Experience5 years of experience in CRM marketing, growth marketing, or lifecycle marketing, preferably in a SaaS, media, or membership-based business.

Hands-on expertise with Ortto, Marketo, HubSpot, or other CRM and marketing automation tools. Strong analytical mindset with experience in data-driven audience segmentation, customer journey mapping, and performance tracking. Proven ability to scale audience acquisition, improve engagement, and drive revenue growth through CRM strategies.

Experience in campaign execution, marketing automation, and A/B testing. Ability to translate complex audience data into actionable marketing strategies. Strong stakeholder management skills—comfortable collaborating across marketing, sales, editorial, and commercial teams.
