This fully remote role focuses on preparing financials for external clients, which are then handed off to the tax team for return preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly accounting for clients, including reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including adjustments and accruals.
  • Prepare and review bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Communicate directly with clients to resolve discrepancies and provide guidance.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, with prior CPA firm experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple clients and complex workloads.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
    and general ledger accounting.
  • Strong skills in payroll processing and sales tax filings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
