As a Distribution Center Director, you'll oversee all aspects of the distribution center's operations, including warehouse management, inventory control, transportation, and logistics, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods. Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership:Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations, including inventory management, transportation, and distribution. Oversee the overall operations of the distribution center, ensuring the timely and accurate movement of goods in and out of the facility.

Manage warehouse and inventory operations to ensure on-time delivery and accurate inventory management. Monitor operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of products. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.

Team Management:Lead and manage the distribution team, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations. Develop and mentor logistics team members and support the organizational culture. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Logistics and Supply Chain:Establish and maintain relationships with logistics providers and carriers. Manage budgets and metrics for supply chain operations. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Others:Stay close to customers to deliver tailored supply chain solutions and improve customer experience. Extend our logistic scope to cover projects/solutions and services for all business in the country. Functional coverage: Covering Logistics, Inventory Planning, Transportation, Supplier Management, Customer Delivery Experience. Internal Partners: Cavite Factories, Front Office. External Partners: Customers, 3rd party logistics, transporters.

QualificationsRequirementsEducationUniversity or Master degrees – Industrial Management / Supply Chain / Transport / Logistics. Language RequirementsFluent in English and Tagalog preferred. ExperienceAt least 10 years of experience in Logistics management (customs management, transportation, warehouse management, and inventory management), of which 5 years in a management position.

Skills RequirementsWarehouse Management Experience: Proven experience in managing warehouse operations, including inventory control, space optimization, and safety protocols. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of logistics software and systems to manage inventory, transportation, and warehouse operations. Strategic Planning: Skills in developing and implementing logistics strategies and policies to meet organizational goals.

Leadership and Management Skills: Ability to lead and manage teams effectively, ensuring smooth operations and high performance. Project management skills are needed to implement changes and transformation. Relationship Management: Ability to maintain and build relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other external partners.

Able to work under pressure, high commitment, self-motivated to achieve aggressive deadlines. Strong ability to influence and convince stakeholders. Resilient in the face of challenges.
