Messenger (Reliever)

• Collect and deliver import/export documents to and from government agencies (e.g., Bureau of Customs), shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clients.
• Serve as a reliever for regular messengers during absences, leaves, or peak operational periods.
• Ensure accurate and secure handling of sensitive documents such as invoices, permits, clearances, and delivery receipts.
• Assist in the timely filing of documents required for customs clearance and cargo release.
• Coordinate with brokers and logistics officers to prioritize urgent deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain logs or records of deliveries and document transactions.
• Follow company protocols in handling confidential and time-sensitive materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor to support brokerage operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a messenger, preferably in logistics or brokerage.
• Familiarity with locations of port terminals, customs offices, and logistics hubs.
• Strong sense of responsibility and time management.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent document needs.
• Valid driver's license (if driving is required).
• Physically fit and able to travel frequently within the metro or port areas.
