The Role: Logistics Process Excellence Engineer

You will ensure the performance of the logistics processes is sustainable, compliant (on SPS, SmartDC, GSOPs, & other standard systems), efficient, & effective plus in alignment and timing with upstream (Supply Chain Planning & Manufacturing Plant) and with Downstream (IG & OG) customers country / logistic territory and assure entity logistics team are high performing on quality, delivery and cost objectives.

What will you do?

Analyze the performance of the SC&L processes (reception, preparation, shipment flows, and more) in a distribution center and do improvement actions thru:

• engineering logistics process
• creating and sustaining continuous improvement
• deploying & implementing SPS
• deploying and sustaining digital solutions

Engineering logistics process

• create/analyze/review and develop logistics end-to-end operations (warehousing architecture, inventory, quality, & transportation) with alignment to given SE GSOPs and directives
• lead projects using an applicable methodology (including PMO)
• support external customers in analyzing & improving logistics process then deploy/produce new good/best practices

Creating continuous improvement

• identify, select, & review opportunities to improve operationally in nature the whole country's logistics
• lead & sustain continuous improvement activities in the DC for cost & productivity savings
• lead projects using the assigned methodology
• Document all standardization as created/designed/deployed

Deploying & implementing SPS

• deploy, support, and sustain SPS
• support the team on complying to People Commitment, Process Engineering, & Manufacturing and Logistic Processes management requirements
• ensure fully defined and accurate warehouse time definition
• supervision of idea and SIM system

Your Main Focus - Deploying & sustaining SmartDC

• collaborate & coordinate with local, regional, and global teams on deploying standards to advance requirements of Smart DC
• Develop and sustain digital tools through allowed platforms (eg. Tableau, LDS, UIPath)
• Ensure competency within East Asia Japan Digital Community

Who would be successful?

• College graduate with a degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
• With (5) years of relevant working experience
• Lean Six Sigma Certified
• Job-related experience: Process / Method / Industrial Engineer; Supply Chain Management Supervisor and Digital Transformation
• Business Understanding: Good understanding of the business, Logistics operations/management (warehousing, transport, inventory, quality, & performance), HR knowledge, Lean and SPS, Project management, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement / Business Process Excellence, Digital Transformation
• Good English verbal/written communication skills, technical skills on lean and six sigma, proficiency in MS applications, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, customer-centric skills, good motivator and trainer, change management, & digitalization skills (smart DC/factory)
• Flexibility to work in Rosario, Cavite
• Working arrangements: Normal dayshift, 5x a week Onsite, Compressed work week
