A. General Description

As a Power Systems Planning and Design Engineer, you are involved in the detailed planning, analysis, and design of electrical distribution systems. You work under the guidance of the Power Systems Planning and Design Manager to execute projects that enhance network efficiency, reliability, and capacity.

B. List of Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting feasibility studies and technical evaluations for system expansion projects.
  • Prepare engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for power distribution systems.
  • Perform load flow analysis and power system studies using specialized software.
  • Support the implementation of system upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
  • Collaborate with CAD Technicians to produce accurate and detailed design drawings.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical input on design considerations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies in all design activities.
  • Conduct field assessments and gather data to support planning and design decisions.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to other departments as needed.

C. Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of BS Electrical Engineering
  • Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer
  • Technical knowledge in power systems analysis, planning, and design
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
