We are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Real Estate Accounting Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting lease administration and real estate financial reporting. You will ensure the accuracy of lease data, manage critical dates, assist in financial transactions, and provide timely reporting to support the overall success of our real estate operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Abstracted and uploaded lease information into client's database.
  • Updated and managed property information associated with processing rents.
  • Performed audit in client's real estate system to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitored and reviewed critical dates (e.g. expiration, renewal, notifications) and provided updates in a timely manner.
  • Assisted business unit's accounting department in inter-company payment transactions.
  • Performed ad hoc tasks and rendered support on other Lease Administration accounts.
  • Reviewed documents (invoices, emails, etc.) for accuracy, completeness, and proper approval.
  • Conducted data entry into Lease Administration/Accounting software.
  • Processed payment submission in accordance with company policy.
  • Submitted monthly variance report to client.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in real estate accounting, lease administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of lease abstraction, database management and financial reporting.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
