WORK ASSIGNMENT: Barangay Rosario, Pasig City

POSITION SUMMARY

The Recruitment Supervisor oversees the end-to-end hiring process to ensure timely and effective sourcing, screening, and deployment of qualified applicants for various construction positions. The role ensures manpower requirements of all project sites and departments are met according to project timelines, company standards, and DOLE regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Recruitment Operations

  • Supervise the complete recruitment cycle—from job posting, sourcing, screening, testing, interviews, to job offers.
  • Ensure prompt hiring of skilled workers, technical staff, engineers, admin personnel, and project-based employees.
  • Manage manpower pooling and maintain an updated talent database.
  • Coordinate with project sites regarding manpower needs and deployment schedules.

2. Sourcing & Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies (job portals, social media, walk-ins, referrals, partnerships).
  • Represent the company in job fairs, school tie-ups, and recruitment events.
  • Manage recruitment partners, agencies, and technical trade testing centers.

3. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and mentor recruitment staff and coordinators.
  • Ensure team targets and KPIs (time-to-fill, quality of hire, hiring turnaround time) are achieved.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to align processes and resolve issues.

4. Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure all hiring processes comply with DOLE, company policies, and construction industry standards.
  • Review and approve candidate evaluation forms, test results, and interview notes.
  • Ensure accurate and complete pre-employment documentation.
  • Coordinate with HR Officer regarding contract signing, medical exams, and onboarding.

5. Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare weekly and monthly recruitment status reports.
  • Monitor attrition trends, urgent vacancies, and workforce projections.
  • Provide recommendations to improve recruitment productivity and retention.

6. Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Department Heads regarding staffing needs.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners (schools, TESDA, LGU PESOs, recruitment agencies).
  • Handle escalation of recruitment-related concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, HRM, Business Administration, or related field.
  • With 5–8 years HR/Recruitment experience, preferably in a construction or engineering company.
  • Experience supervising recruitment teams is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in DOLE requirements, technical trades, and construction manpower roles.
  • Strong interviewing, assessment, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with HRIS/DMS systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Can work under pressure and handle high-volume, fast-paced recruitment.
  • Willing to visit project sites when needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Office-based with occasional site visits.
  • May require extended hours depending on hiring volume and project deadlines.
