Overview:

A food and beverage start-up is looking for an energetic, passionate, experienced, and results-driven Restaurant Consultant to help build and launch a potentially game-changing food concept

Location: Alabang / Paranaque, Metro Manila

Engagement Type: Project-based / Part-time Consultant (with option to be part of the management team)

Duration: 3 to 6 months (with option to extend)

Key Responsibilities:

Planning Phase 1

  • Source and evaluate suppliers for ingredients, equipment, and kitchen tools.
  • Provide financial and operational insights on cost control, pricing, and profitability for both on-site and commissary operations.
  • Advise on restaurant concept design, menu engineering, and kitchen layout.
  • Perform other functions, as needed.

Planning Phase 2

  • Assist in designing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food prep, service flow, and quality control.
  • Support in the recruitment of key kitchen and operations staff.
  • Offer ongoing guidance during pre-opening and soft launch phases.
  • Perform other functions, as needed

Qualifications:

  • A passionate and energetic individual
  • Proven experience setting up or running casual dining, multi-branch, commissary restaurants offering Japanese or noodle-based concepts.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen workflow, inventory systems, and cost management.
  • Ability to work hands-on and provide actionable, practical advice.

    Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
