Job Description:

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems, rotating, and stationary equipment within the power plant. The role ensures all mechanical components operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with plant standards and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, compressors, turbines, valves, and piping systems.
  • Assist in the installation, alignment, and testing of mechanical equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical failures.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Follow plant safety policies, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Mechanical Technician in an industrial or power plant environment.
  • Knowledge of rotating and stationary equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
  • Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.
