DIRECT LOCAL DELIVERIES

  1. Performs detailed physical count of merchandise received. Checks the item quantity, description, and other details.

  2. Records the discrepancies and quantity of damaged items found during checking and have this acknowledged by the Supplier Representative.

STORE TO STORE AND CENTRAL WAREHOUSE DELIVERIES

  1. Ensures that the correct shipping manifest is attached to the delivery. Matches the shipping manifest number with what is indicated in the shipping manifest transmittal.

  2. Counts the number of pallets/ cartons received and matches against what is stated in the shipping manifest.

  3. Coordinates with the origin location to resolve receiving concerns/discrepancies.

OTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Follows established procedure/ working standards on receiving of deliveries.

  2. Collects receiving documents such as invoices, purchase order, shipping manifests, etc. from Suppliers/ Drivers.

  3. Prepares the gate pass for excess and damaged items found during receiving checking.

  4. Informs immediate superior promptly any problems or unusual matters of significance.

  5. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.

  6. Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the immediate superior.

QUALIFICATION:

  • At least with 1 year experience as receiving.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
