Diamond Associate

The Diamond Associate plays a key role in delivering a luxury customer experience by assisting clients with the selection and purchase of diamond jewelry. This position requires strong knowledge of diamonds, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients in a high-end retail setting.

• Greet and engage customers, providing expert guidance on diamond jewelry purchases
• Educate customers on diamond quality, including the 4Cs (cut, clarity, color, and carat)
• Drive sales by understanding customer needs and offering tailored product recommendations
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the brand's diamond collections, pricing, and certifications
• Build and maintain a loyal client base through follow-ups, clienteling, and personalized service
• Assist in inventory control, including receiving, tagging, and securing high-value merchandise
• Ensure the showroom and display cases are clean, organized, and visually appealing
• Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Comply with all company policies related to security, operations, and customer service
• Stay updated on diamond industry trends and product knowledge

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Up to 2 years of retail or luxury sales experience (jewelry or diamond sales preferred)
• Strong knowledge of diamonds and fine jewelry (GIA certification is a plus)
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and presentation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Comfortable working in a commission-based or sales target-driven environment
