Your Role in a Nutshell:

The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for supporting the Finance team by managing sales orders and invoices, ensuring accurate billing, communicating with clients to facilitate payments, and handling tax and receipt documentation, all while gaining valuable experience in finance operations.

What You Will Do:

Sales Order and Invoice Management

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of sales orders using Business Central (BC), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support the issuance of manual Sales Invoices (SI), Billing Statements (BS), and Statements of Account (SOA) based on posted invoices. Client Communication
• Facilitate the delivery of Sales Invoice to clients via email or courier.
• Assist in sending payment reminders through email and collection platforms to support timely collections.

Tax and Receipt Handling

• Coordinate the collection of withholding tax certificates from clients.
• Assist in the issuance of Acknowledgement Receipts and Collection Receipts upon confirmation of payment.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable transactions, including receipts, tax certificates, bank activities, and Microsoft incentives. Accounts Monitoring and Reporting
• Update the Accounts Receivable Aging Summary and monitor overdue accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of weekly collection forecasts.

Monthly and Quarterly Reporting

• Support the monthly closing process for accounts receivable.
• Preparing and encoding the Summary List of Sales and Alphalist for quarterly submission to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) via the RELIEF system.

Customer Support

• Respond to basic client inquiries and assist in resolving collection-related concerns under supervision.

Compliance and Audit Preparation

• Assist in the preparation of schedules and reconciliations required for annual or special audits. Additional Duties
• Perform other finance-related tasks and reports assigned by management.

What We Look For:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting (Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply).

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
