About the role

China First Highway Engineering Company Limited is seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team in Antipolo City Rizal. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our valued employees, ensuring they are compensated correctly and on time.

What you'll be doing

  1. Calculating and processing bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees, including base salaries, deductions, and reimbursements
  2. Ensuring compliance with all relevant labour laws, regulations, and company policies
  3. Maintaining accurate employee records and payroll data
  4. Preparing and filing all necessary payroll-related reports and tax documents
  5. Answering employee inquiries about payroll and benefits
  6. Collaborating with the HR team to resolve any payroll-related issues
  7. Process Last Pay Computation and Alpha List
  8. Process 13th Month pay and Leave Conversion
  9. Manual Computation of Withholding Tax
  10. Continuously improving payroll processes to increase efficiency and accuracy

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a payroll specialist or similar role
  2. Thorough understanding of payroll regulations, tax requirements, and best practices
  3. Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
  4. Proficient in using payroll software and spreadsheet applications
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
