Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and accuracy in all aspects of payroll work is a MUST.
  • Process payroll for all employees, including hourly, salaried, and commissioned positions.
  • Collect and validate employee timecards and attendance records.
  • Calculate wages, overtime pay, and deductions according to company policies and government regulations.
  • Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits on time.
  • Manage employee deductions for taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
  • File and remit payroll taxes accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records.
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports.
  • Interface with other departments on payroll-related matters.
  • Stay informed of changes in tax laws and regulations, and update payroll procedures accordingly.
  • Onboard new employees into the payroll system.
  • Resolve employee inquiries and address payroll-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently with numbers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Knowledge of payroll software a plus.
  • Strong understanding of relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php28, Php30,000.00 per month
