Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional HVAC/R Technician to manage the critical climate control and refrigeration systems for our high-profile client, Auro Cafe. This role is dedicated to ensuring optimal performance of systems vital for both customer comfort (HVAC) and product preservation (Refrigeration for chocolate and perishables). The technician must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, proactive maintenance skills, and superior client communication.

Key Responsibilities

Critical System Maintenance & Repair

• HVAC Systems: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and emergency repairs on packaged rooftop units, split systems, and ventilation equipment to maintain consistent air quality and temperature in retail and seating areas.
• Refrigeration Systems (R-Systems): Proactively maintain and repair commercial refrigeration units, display coolers, walk-in coolers, and chocolate storage environments to ensure precise temperature and humidity control is always maintained.
• Diagnostics: Expertly diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults, with a focus on DDC (Direct Digital Control) systems and specialized climate control sensors.
• Equipment Care: Calibrate and service specialized cafe equipment, including water filtration units and ice machines, as needed.

Client Service & Documentation

• Immediate Response: Provide rapid, high-priority emergency service response to minimize downtime or risk to perishable inventory.
• Communication: Clearly communicate repair scopes, estimated time of arrival (ETA), job status updates, and solutions to the Cafe Manager or Operations Lead with professionalism and clarity.
• Reporting: Complete detailed, accurate digital work orders, time tracking, and inspection reports for every service visit, noting all parts used and system performance metrics.
• Quality Assurance: Regularly inspect the premises to identify and recommend future maintenance or system upgrades to improve efficiency and reliability.

Compliance & Safety
