  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facility systems and equipment to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Oversee the operation of critical facility systems, such as heating, cooling, lighting, and security systems etc.
  • Manage and monitor automated building management systems (BMS) to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior facilities technicians, providing guidance and support in performing their duties.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services, ensuring quality and compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain and update facility documentation, including maintenance logs, safety records, and compliance reports.
  • Plan and execute facility improvement projects, including renovations, upgrades, and energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Respond promptly to facility-related service requests and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with facility occupants to address concerns and provide updates on maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of facility systems and equipment.
  • Analyze system performance data and adjust maintenance strategies as needed.
  • Act as a key contact for emergency situations, providing immediate response and resolution to facility-related crises.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness planning and drills to ensure readiness for unforeseen events.

  • Work effectively with other members of the team.
  • Education: A 4 years Technical Course (Mechanical /Electrical Technology)/Technical School Graduate (TESDA/DUALTECH - NCII or equivalent)
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior technician role.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of building systems and equipment, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in using maintenance management software.
