The Investment Assistant is responsible for trading the investible portion of all the trust funds, assist with investment analysis, market research and administrative tasks including exposure monitoring.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gets daily quotes from counterparties;
  • Checks funds available for investments;
  • Coordinates with the Portfolio Management Assistant on current portfolio mix of clients with investible funds;
  • Monitors maturities and credit line usage,
  • Prepares a report on any breaches in credit line usage,
  • Maintains good relationship with counter-parties and issuers;
  • Monitors economic indicators and prepares updates for TD, TIC, and clients;
  • Prepares investment research materials

Qualifications:

  • At least a college graduate of a business degree
  • Computer Literate
  • Willing to learn and can adapt to new tasks
  • Industrious and reliable
