Job Summary
Acts as a strategic and operational partner to the Construction Group, ensuring that people strategies effectively support project execution and organizational goals. The role is responsible for workforce planning, employee relations, and policy implementation across multiple project sites, while promoting a culture of engagement, compliance, and operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with Operations and Project Management teams to align HR strategies with manpower and project requirements.
- Plan and coordinate manpower deployment and demobilization in coordination with site teams.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for site personnel, addressing employee relations issues and ensuring consistent application of company policies.
- Facilitate performance management processes and provide guidance to Project Managers on coaching and employee development.
- Identify training and competency needs specific to construction roles and coordinate appropriate learning interventions.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, occupational health and safety standards, and company policies at all project sites.
- Support the implementation of organizational and operational changes, ensuring effective communication and employee alignment.
- Monitor HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and training participation, and provide insights to management.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance workforce productivity, engagement, and retention.
Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Psychology/ Behavioral Science or any Management or Business Course;
- With at least ten (10) years of relevant work experience, 3 years of which in a managerial capacity.
- With proven experience in HR Admin/Operations Management in the Construction industry
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and HR analytics.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
