About the role

As an Estimator at IPM Construction & Dev. Corp., you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of construction projects. Based in Pasig City Metro Manila, this full-time position will see you responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and bid proposals to support the company's growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation to identify labor, material, and equipment requirements
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates, including material take-offs, labor and equipment costs, and overhead expenses
  • Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate pricing information
  • Presenting and defending cost estimates to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Monitoring market conditions and identifying opportunities to optimize costs and improve profitability
  • Providing input on constructability, project schedules, and bidding strategies
  • Maintaining a comprehensive database of historical cost data and industry benchmarks

What we're looking for

  • Graduate of BS in Civil Engineering, Licensed preferred
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
  • Experience in site development, excavation, buildings and commercial projects
  • Proficiency in the use of estimating software, such as Sage Estimating or On-Screen Takeoff, is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Thorough understanding of construction materials, labor, and equipment costs, as well as industry regulations and safety standards
