This role is ideal for someone who has a strong grasp of construction processes, preparing accurate cost
estimates, analysing project specifications, excellent attention to detail, deadline-driven environment and ensuring
our proposals are competitive and profitable. You'll work closely with our project managers, designers, and
suppliers to prepare accurate and competitive quotes for a wide variety of landscaping and construction works.
What You'll Do
You'll be the kind of person who:
- Prepare detailed estimates and bid proposals for commercial and high-end residential landscape construction projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project scope to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks.
- Coordinate take-offs and pricing for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and operations teams throughout the pre-construction process.
- Lead bid strategy sessions and provide recommendations to executive leadership.
- Maintain estimating database and historical cost information.
We're looking for someone who:
- 5+ years of estimating experience in landscape construction, site development, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry pricing, with landscape experience considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in estimating software is required, with experience in Cubit and Buildsoft considered a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape and civil construction plans.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
