We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior Fintech App Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert and escalation point for complex issues related to our fintech applications, ensuring seamless user experiences and operational excellence.

You will work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to diagnose and resolve incidents, monitor performance, and proactively address potential disruptions. Your deep understanding of financial technologies, APIs, cloud services, and security protocols will be crucial in maintaining system reliability and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for fintech applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
  • Monitor application performance and availability, using tools like Splunk, New Relic, or AppDynamics.
  • Maintain documentation, including runbooks and technical FAQs, to support knowledge sharing and training.
  • Support integration of third-party financial APIs and manage secure data exchanges.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and drive incident management during critical outages.
  • Ensure compliance with financial data regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 2).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in application support, preferably in fintech or banking environments.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Familiarity with scripting (Python, Shell) and DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php130, Php170,000.00 per month
