As a
Senior Application Support Engineer
, you will play a critical role in ensuring the
availability, scalability, and performance
of mission-critical systems. You'll lead operational strategies, drive automation, and act as a subject matter expert in microservices and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies for FinTech platforms.
  • Lead and coordinate incident response efforts, minimizing downtime and customer impact.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues using log analysis and monitoring tools.
  • Continuously identify and fix system inefficiencies to improve reliability.
  • Maintain clear documentation of incidents, resolutions, and best practices.
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing workshops to upskill team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience
    in SRE, DevOps, or production operations
  • Experience
    supporting critical production systems
    and managing incidents
  • Strong understanding of
    SRE principles
    (observability, SLOs, reducing repetitive work)
  • Hands-on experience with:
    Distributed systems / microservices, Logging & monitoring tools
    (Splunk, Prometheus, Datadog, etc.),
    Incident management tools
    (PagerDuty, ServiceNow, etc.),
    Version control (Git)

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in
    payments, financial services, or e-commerce
  • Familiarity with
    Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms
    (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Basic
    scripting skills
    (Python, Shell) and SQL troubleshooting
  • Relevant
    technical certifications
