Inventory & Compliance Officer

Employment Type: Full-Time | On-site/Field | Monday–Sunday shifting when needed

Location: Primarily in Cavite / Batangas with occasional Manila deployments

Willing to Travel & Relocate to multiple sites

ROLE PURPOSE

The Inventory & Compliance Officer ensures proper supply management, prevents wastage, strengthens cost control, and upholds accountability across all properties and business units. The role oversees procurement, inventory accuracy, consumption audits, and compliance with company policies, helping optimize operational efficiency and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory & Asset Control

  • Conduct regular inventory counts across all properties (resort, café branches, home rentals, and storage).
  • Monitor stock levels, expiration dates, and reorder points for F&B, housekeeping, and operational supplies.
  • Track and record movements of assets, supplies, and high-value equipment.

Audit & Accountability

  • Investigate discrepancies and stock variances; enforce accountability policies.
  • Monitor usage per department to avoid misuse, hoarding, or theft.
  • Report losses, unusual consumption, or damaged property with recommendations.

Procurement & Approval

  • Review supply requests and approve based on standards, usage history, and budget.
  • Validate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing with Procurement/Management.
  • Ensure deliveries match purchase orders and specifications.

Reporting & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory system/log sheets.
  • Submit weekly and monthly audit reports covering:

  • Stock levels

  • Consumption trends
  • Variance analyses
  • Cost savings initiatives
  • Recommend improvements on stock handling to reduce waste and improve efficiency.

Policy & Compliance

  • Implement standardized inventory protocols for all locations.
  • Train staff on proper handling, storage, and issuance procedures.
  • Ensure brand and sustainability standards are applied in sourcing (eco-friendly options when possible).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years experience in inventory management / audit / supply chain / cost control
  • Experience in hospitality or F&B industry preferred
  • Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets; experience in POS or inventory systems is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Able to travel frequently across sites
