JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Receive & Inspect Deliveries: Verify accuracy, quality, and compliance of incoming food and packaging materials.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Storage & Organization: Store items properly (dry, chilled, frozen) following FIFO and HACCP standards.
  • Stock Monitoring: Track inventory levels, report shortages or overstock, and prevent spoilage.
  • Labeling & Rotation: Ensure correct labeling and rotation of all items.
  • Production Support: Provide timely inventory to production teams based on schedules.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain logs for temperature checks, batch codes, and lot tracking.
  • Sanitation & Compliance: Keep storage areas clean and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Waste Control: Record and help reduce expired or damaged stock.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with purchasing, kitchen, and logistics teams.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit inventory reports; update inventory software.
  • Quality & Compliance: Uphold health, safety, and quality standards; resolve inventory issues promptly.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
